The Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has passed away at the age of 91 after leading the Gulf state for over 14 years. Admired for his dedication towards peace and deep faith in diplomacy, his loss reverberates greatly across the world. His vision and ideas shaped Kuwait into the prospering and modern state it is today, and his global leadership resulted in long-lasting and positive change in the country and the entire Middle East region.
In this moment of grief and sorrow our thoughts are with the Royal family and all the people of the State of Kuwait. We also send our deepest condolences to our great friend and supporter, H.E. Mr. Ayman Mohammad Al-Adsani, the previous Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Czech Republic.
