On the 18th and 19th of November, the 25th annual Hanno R. Ellenbogen Citizenship Award Ceremony took place at Pálffy Palace in Bratislava with final Policy Chat and Discussion on 20th of November in Brno.

The event was dedicated to commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution and was organised in cooperation with Hon. Dr. Tomáš Drucker, Minister of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, Hon. Dr. Richard Raši, Minister of of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, H.E. Rudolf Jindrák, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovakia, H.E. Pasi Tuominen, Ambassador of Finland to the Czech Republic and Slovakia and under the patronage of H.S.H. Elizabeth Princess Lobkowicz, Hon. Magda Vašáryová, Hon. PM Petr Nečas, Hon. Štefan Füle, Hon. Martin Palouš and Hon. Charles C. Adams

This year’s prizes were personally presented by Professor Marc S. Ellenbogen, President of the Prague Society and Chairman the Global Panel Foundation, to Cardinal Dominik Duka, Hon. Milan Kňažko, Evgenia Chirikova and Dr. Barbara Day.

In addition to the Ceremony and Meetings in Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava, Offline Sessions were also held at the Czech Centre in Bratislava with final Policy Chat and Discussion in Grand Hotel Brno with the participation of Denis Bilunov and Deputy Minister of Finance Marek Mora.
